'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment midway through the four-year deal he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first major trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
